Rolls Royce (Alten)
As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for Rolls Royce on behalf of Alten Ltd, I have been an integral part of an Agile-based instrumental in developing an ECOSIStem process for Level A DO-178C certification and safety-critical systems for civilian aircraft engines.
My responsibilities have included planning sprints, negotiating effort points, and ensuring the completion of user stories by the end of each sprint. I have utilized Azure DevOps to track the development cycle and facilitate continuous integration.
My expertise extends to writing high-level requirements (HLRs) from System Requirements Allocated To Software (SRATS) and using MATLAB/Simulink to develop low-level requirements for the FADEC control system using Model-Based System Design. I have also developed test cases for Simulink-based testing to test HLRs in MIL and PIL modes, ensuring that the model passes all compliance checks.
In addition to integrating components into the architecture on Simulink, I have also been involved in peer-reviewing pull requests to ensure compliance and high delivery standards. My contributions have delivered over £1.5 million in features, exceeding targets by 10% - 20%.

Cracku is one of India's leading E-Learning platforms providing online coaching and test preparation materials for MBA, Banking, SSC and Railways Exams.
I worked in teams of 3-10 Content Managers responsible for creating content for MBA exams including the Common Entrance Test (CAT) which is taken by over 150,000 students each year. I created over 400 practice questions and delivered over 100 hours of online classes for such tests. I worked on implementing agile management ideals for content management and delivery by sprint planning.
I also managed timelines of content delivery and communicated updates with our clients (the students), management and team members to ensure satisfactory progress. I also ensured delivery of completed content adheres to established agile practices and got habituated to working to achieve time-bound targets efficiently even in high-pressure situations.
Being a start-up Cracku presented me with a unique opportunity to collaborate and work cross-functionally with multiple teams. This allowed me to pitch an idea for a CRM integrated extensive user feedback interface project, of which I later took full ownership. I planned and monitored sprints for project implementation and liaised with stakeholders to understand product requirements. I communicated product requirements to the development team and also alpha tested the product before releasing it on the platform. The interface helped me as well as the other Content Managers to analyze feedback, and understand the pros and cons thereby improving content to achieve over 95% positive feedback.
This period also presented me with the experience of working in the office before the Covid-19 pandemic and Working From Home during the lockdown. Despite the sudden change, I was quick to adapt to the new normal and shifted my working environment overnight without any issues.

GNA Gears is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automotive transmission components
I worked on 2D and 3D modelling of automotive components in AutoCAD and CATIA for clients like JCB and John Deere. I had the opportunity to conduct Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) during the early stages of product development and to oversee the 3D printing of components using Creo Additive Manufacturing. I was also involved in the optimization of floor movements, improving efficiency by 10%.
I interacted with clients during the discovery phase to understand the initial concept and took part in preliminary and critical design meetings for each sprint. I was also part of the team that conducted FMEA and deployed the 8D problem-solving methodology during the testing phase. Further, I utilised Six Sigma tools to Optimize floor movements at the production site improving efficiency by 10%.
My role here provided me with an opportunity to explore my creative abilities while at the same time paying close attention to the finer details of work. I was also able to improve my interpersonal skills by interacting with peers as well as the management in a professional environment. Further, it helped me understand the importance effective management plays in the smooth functioning of an organisational structure.

ZEST is one of North India's largest annual inter-college cultural festivals.
As one of the organisers for the event, I had the opportunity to engage and coordinate with a wide range of personalities from celebrities to students and staff of multiple colleges to ensure the smooth conduct of events.
I developed the Social Media Strategy and created original content for the Social Media pages of the event and handled the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter campaigns for the event.
I also worked with my team to rope in sponsors for the event. I had to convince potential sponsors to invest in our fest in exchange for advertisement and brand exposure. Along with my team, I was successful in bringing in over 1Million INR worth of sponsorship.
During this time I got to appreciate the importance of understanding what each customer expects and offering them exactly what they need while maximising our profits.
Our committee was awarded the most economical committee among 15 others for the most economical budgeting.
